Our volunteer program is flexible to allow for varied interests and schedules. Some volunteers want to learn about gardening, some want to work at special events; we have friends who volunteer occasionally while others every Thursday or only during the holiday season.
Apply online and we'll contact you when we have a project that'll interest you.
We are accepting interns. We are currently seeking interns with these skills: web development, marketing,, social media, and business and nonprofit administration.

Job-Training & Transitional Employment
The Project's employment-training program serves individuals in Santa Cruz county who are homeless or formerly homeless, who have experienced barriers to employment, and who wish to maintain a stable productive place in society.
Our training consists of formal classes and hands-on work in these programs:
- In the Natural Bridges Farm program where trainees learn to sow, cultivate, and harvest organic produce and fresh cut flowers. This harvest is sold through our Community Supported Agriculture program.
- In the Women’s Organic Flower Enterprise (WOFE), our value-added enterprise. In WOFE, trainees learn to dry a wide variety of herbs and flowers and design beautiful, long-lasting arrangements and other value-added products.
The best way to apply is to bring your completed application to the farm on a Thursday or Friday between 10 and 2. We encourage you to spend some time at the farm to confirm that this is something to which you can commit. When there are openings, farm staff will review applications and call qualified candidates for interviews.
