You can help the Homeless Garden Project while helping yourself to delicious, organically grown vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers.

How Does it work?

  • Pick up on Fridays at 30 West Cliff Dr.
  • Enjoy!

How much does it cost?

  • Join now for $184 – the cost is pro-rated based on when you start

Why join?

Good for You:
  • Eat ultra-fresh food
  • New vegetables and new ways of cooking
  • You're invited to visit the farm where your food is grown
  • Kids favor food from "their" farm
  • Learn more about how food is grown

Good for the project and the trainees:

  • Get to spend time marketing the food early in the year, so they can focus on growing and training later.
  • Receive payment early in the season, which helps with the project's cash flow
  • Have an opportunity to get to know the people who eat the food they grow

You Pick CSA

U-Pick CSA Share- $176.00

U-Pick shares are harvested by you--the shareholder--at Natural Bridges Farm each week during our 23-week harvest season, May 28 through October 29.
(Price is pro-rated to reflect later starting date.)

This share feeds 2-3 adults. U-Pick members attend an orientation and arrange a regular pick-up time to harvest their share. Please see our CSA brochure, order form and crop list for details; please complete and sign order form and call the farm to schedule orientation before your first pick-up

Recipe of the Week

Strawberry Romaine Salad

Salad Ingredients:

  • 1 head romaine lettuce
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/2 cup green onion
  • 1/2 cup strawberry

Dressing Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons liquid honey
  • 4 tablespoons salad oil
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seed
Directions:

Total Time: 15 minutes
Tear romaine lettuce into bite size pieces. Peel and slice cucumber. Slice onions and strawberries into small pieces. Gently toss all ingredients together. Pour dressing ingredients into a sealable container and shake to mix. Put dressing over salad just before serving. Enjoy!
